About Us

Who We Are

Anteaox is a family-owned business, born in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. With backgrounds in pharmaceutical and horticultural practices, Anteaox was founded with the intention of creating a tea that not only boasts an impressive polyphenol antioxidant profile, but does so through a rigorous, science- and evidence-based approach. Our family shares a belief that naturally occurring compounds offer an understated wealth of health benefits—something that modern scientific research continues to reinforce, and something we are incredibly excited to share with you.

What We Do

Health

Polyphenols. One of the most underrated naturally occurring antioxidants. Polyphenol antioxidants have been demonstrated to work in synergy with each other, have their own additional modes of action, repair free-radical damage, and much more. One cup of our Anteaox tea blend comprises 111* different polyphenol antioxidants, all specifically selected and sourced from natural ingredients.

Science

The Anteaox tea blend has been specifically created to yield particular polyphenols based on the highest quality peer-reviewed medical journals (find these on our References page). More importantly, the Anteaox tea blend has been tested through a university-standard mass spectrometry unit, proving that it delivers the goods.

Taste

The Anteaox tea blend was created to be as enjoyable as it is healthy. Anteaox is a subtle and calming tea, providing a delicate fragrance and taste. Anteaox tea has been described as “cleansing” and serves to relax those who drink it.

Why We Do What We Do

Our family knows first-hand how important good health is to leading a happy and fulfilling life. With the diagnosis of a hereditary disease known as Lynch syndrome in our family came a journey of investigating how we could best equip our bodies with the greatest source of therapeutic and preventative natural compounds. This exploration led us to discovering the world of polyphenols. The more we dug, the more we found just how remarkable these compounds are, having been studied for their potential benefits across a wide range of disease states. With this new-found knowledge, and by asking how we could best help ourselves, we realised we could help many others in the process.
